Middleweights Abus Magomedov and Michal Oleksiejczuk are set to kick off the main card at UFC Fight Night 280, squaring off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Magomedov enters the matchup with a 28-7-1 MMA record and a 4-3 mark in the UFC. He is coming off a second-round submission loss to Joe Pyfer at UFC 320, a setback that halted his three-fight winning streak over Warlley Alves, Brunno Ferreira and Michel Pereira.
Oleksiejczuk brings a 22-9 MMA record and 10-7 UFC slate into the bout. He rides a three-fight winning streak that features first-round finishes of Sedriques Dumas and Gerald Meerschaert, as well as a unanimous decision victory over Marc-Andre Barriault in February.
The middleweight bout opens the main card, with public betting moving the odds to near pick'em status at Magomedov -106 and Oleksiejczuk -114 via FanDuel. The fighters are expected to make their walks at approximately 12:10 p.m. ET, with the event streaming live on Paramount+.
