Aaron Pico Outpoints Patricio Freire in Standup Battle at UFC 327
12-04-26

Aaron Pico earned a unanimous decision win over Patricio Freire at UFC 327, securing his first UFC victory in the process.

Judges scored the bout 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 for Pico, who used his boxing and timely takedowns to control a primarily standup fight against the veteran Freire.

With the win, Pico improves to 14-5 in MMA and 1-1 in the UFC, rebounding from a loss in his octagon debut the previous year. Freire’s record moves to 37-9 overall and 1-2 in the UFC.

Both fighters are longtime veterans of the now-defunct Bellator organization, and this result marks Pico’s first win since February 2024.
